Saturday, December 02, 2006 ::: THIS IS RATHER EXCITING NEWS After a few false starts I told myself not to believe any ~~news~~ rumors that just won't stop circulating on the net (the 'we're all going to see this before X'mas' crap) but now Madonna's official site has confirmed that we are going to see a worldwide release date for her Confessions Tour DVD on 22 Jan afterall, which is not so far from now is it? Apparently this is going to be the DVD cover. Just finished my 'Air Babylon' book. The story kinda unfolds into a complete mess at some point, and there are more than a few bits that too obviously being 'fabricated' to leave the readers in awe (but only for those who mistake 'fantasy' as 'facts' - despite the author's claim that every bit of the narration is true)... But the world of airline business does seem interesting and it's apparently still great to be a pilot. Cathay Pacific manages to get a mention in the book (highest paid pilots among all airlines etc) and flying isn't all glamorous, unless you're a pilot - whose job is only to fly/land the plane in a handsome uniform, not to mention all the service you get during flight and after flights, which facts I won't dwell on here (if the book is to be believed). I was right, the book did name check the 'mile high club', a few times actually. How predictable though. I just got hold of the entire (well, almost) collection of Kylie Minogue CDs. I didn't grow up listening to Kylie, but the first CD I got was her 'Light Years' album, which I thought was great at the time of release. Her 'Fever' album is of course still sensational, but it's interesting to listen to her back catalogue. Getting a cold. I kinda saw this coming though. ::: posted by Wings at 12/02/2006 07:41:00 AM
